Invitation to Eurasian Film Academy

FILM SESSION 

Session dates: October 19 - November 13, 2026 Venue: Russian Federation, Moscow, 

Language of instruction: English/Russian 

Fields: film directing 

1. Age: 18 to 35 years. 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 

2. Proficiency in English: no lower than Intermediate (interview via video call); or proficiency in Russian: no lower than TORFLI. 

3. No restrictions on entering Russia. 

4. A valid international passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of completion of the Session. 

HOW TO APPLY: 

3. Application submission period for the session: from July 28 to September 5, 2026 

4. To take part in the Selection, the applicant must, on the official website: https://creative.eurasianfilmacademy.com/creative, within the established deadlines, complete an application, including a participant questionnaire with a personal photograph, a synopsis and a literary script, a portfolio, and a video introduction. A portfolio of works, which must include: 

Samples of completed work and/or excerpts from them, arranged in chronological order. It is advisable to select the best shots from your films (short and feature-length) and/or clips that reflect your achievements not only in directing but also in editing, cinematography, and visual effects. If necessary, the works may be supplemented with comments. If available. 

• Examples of storyboards of the films you have created (short and feature- length) that reflect your thought process and the extent of its realization. 1-2 works you consider your best. If available. 

Work in related creative fields commercials, music videos, animated sketches. 1-2 works you consider your best. If available. 

• Original screenplays authored by the applicant. If available. 

• Film festivals 

and awards received. If available.attended, including nominations 

A link to your personal website, public page, or social media pages. If available. 

The portfolio must be formatted as a PDF presentation with clickable links to videos/photos. 

5. The script of the film you plan to shoot during the film Session. The film should address a theme that genuinely concerns young people and explores the defining turning points in a young person's development. The film's running time must not exceed 12 minutes. 

How to apply:

2. Click "Submit Application" and enter your email address. A confirmation code will be sent to that address — please check your "Spam" folder if it does not arrive — and enter the code once you receive it.

3. Complete the questionnaire. All fields, including the video introduction, are required. 

4. Submit your application. A confirmation of receipt will then be sent to your email. 5. Await the outcome of your application.

THE HOST PARTY 

COVERS THE FOLLOWING EXPENSES: 

1. Reimbursement of the visa fee. 

2. Round-trip tickets to Moscow. 

3. Double-occupancy accommodation for the duration of the Session participant's stay. 

4. Three meals a day throughout the Session participant's stay. 

5. Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. Local transportation. 

6. Educational and Cultural Programme. 

7. All expenses necessary for the creation of the final film.
